In 2021, the iconic, century-old public golf course in the middle of Midtown Memphis was in need of an overhaul. Overton Park 9 was slated to be rebuilt by legendary golf course designers King Collins, and it deserved a unique brand that mirrored the quality and originality of the new course.
Overton Park 9 is a low-cost municipal course in the heart of Memphis — not a country club. Golfers of all ages and skill levels have loved the course for decades, so we knew the updated brand had to be fun, welcoming, and representative of the character of its unusual placement: nestled between a bustling urban core and Overton Park’s historic old growth forest.
